Direct Slack Integration

As of now, teamdeck has no direct slack integration. Slack integration would help all teams using Slack as their communication tool to keep updated about the following:
* People's time including vacations,
* Who's not available on a date (announcements / messages through a Slackbot everyday),
* Allow people to add time sheets entry directly from Slack,
* Allow people to apply for vacations / time off
* Generate productivity reports based on timesheet entries for themselves and for other users (via admins only)
and other teamdeck features as well.
I am sure this integration would be much appreciated by community of organizations using Teamdeck and Slack for their time tracking and communication. :)

Thank you for reaching us. The reason for our late response is that we are still working on a proper communication and feature descriptions to publish official TD slack bot while finalizing development but wanted to address your comment and list features that will be included in initial release Bookings Notification - log of all edits done to bookings assigned to channel
Booked Today Notification - daily notification about ongoing projects and people booked
Available Next Week Notification - weekly notification about free resources in the upcoming week
Available Resources Command - direct command to output available resources within specific dates (`available from {date} to {date}`) [td managers only] Booked For Command - direct command to output booked resources for a project(`booked for {project_phrase}`) [td managers only]
Vacation Notification - log of all edits done to vacations assigned to channel and private updates about updates
Today on Vacation Notification (daily) - daily summary of people on vacations assigned to channel
Pending Vacation Requests Notification - weekly summary of pending vacations requests assigned to channel
Timesheets Notification - private notification about missing timesheets with optional buttons to automatically populate based on bookings
Each feature can be enabled/disabled and will have their settings page available in TD application, similarly to defining people or projects, and have their own set of options to specify day, time of summaries, filters and formats of listed informations. That’s just the initial version and we continue development to further extend customization and add new features. Productivity reports as a priority. Our release is planned in 2 weeks.
